DEH Construction Services

This project requires a qualified contractor to provide full construction services, bringing the project from a basis of design to a completed, fully functional state. The scope of work is divided into several key areas:

Pre-construction:

• Perform an existing conditions survey, including exploratory demolition to confirm building systems and structure.
• Create a detailed project schedule, a Site Logistics Plan, and a Safety Plan to ensure a smooth and secure construction process.

Kitchen Renovation and Upgrades:

• Conduct a full demolition of the existing kitchen area, including ceilings, floors, and all equipment.
• Install new quarry tile flooring, a moisture-resistant acoustical ceiling, and stainless-steel wall panels.
• Furnish and install new commercial kitchen equipment, including a 10-burner range, refrigerators, dishwashers, an exhaust hood, and an Ansul fire suppression system.
• Upgrade the kitchen’s plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems to meet current codes.
• Set up and operate a temporary kitchen for the duration of the renovation to minimize disruption.

House Upgrades:

• Renovate and upgrade multiple rooms, including the sitting room, pantry, storage areas, hose tower, and locker rooms.
• Replace ceilings, flooring, and lighting in these areas with new, modern fixtures and materials.
• Install new locker systems, workbenches, and shop cabinetry as specified.
• Upgrade the plumbing and electrical systems in the restroom and shower areas, including new fixtures and ventilation.
• Install a new Fire Station Alerting System that integrates with the existing FEMS systems.

Exterior Improvements:

• Repair and replace existing trench drain systems.
• Perform milling, overlaying, and restriping of the existing parking lots on the south and west elevations.
