Project Scope of Work:

In addition to the existing-condition documentation and structural evaluation, Bitarchitects developed repair recommendations and restoration details for the deteriorated garage wall. The scope included assessing the condition of the damaged concrete and reinforcing steel, identifying appropriate repair methods, and preparing structural repair documentation to support the restoration work. The recommended repairs included temporary shoring and site protection as required, removal of unsound concrete, inspection and treatment of exposed reinforcing steel, installation of supplemental reinforcement where necessary, application of structural repair mortar, restoration of the existing surface texture and brick scoring, and preparation of repaired surfaces for painting. The repair scope also included coordination for the temporary removal and reinstallation of adjacent site elements as needed to complete the work safely while maintaining compliance with applicable building codes and accepted engineering practices.
